Our Classic Bib Shorts have been tweaked and refined more than any other pair we make. They are made with only the finest materials and highest-grade components for riders who refuse to choose between comfort and style. The lycra fabric is soft against the skin and has increased mechanical stretch to provide a comfortable fit across a range of body shapes. The bib straps are made with a lightweight mesh which provides excellent breathability across the upper section. A central cut out on the back further aids temperature regulation without compromising stability, and there’s a subtle pocket at the base of the back. Low-profile silicone leg grippers keep the shorts in place with just the right amount of compression around the thigh. The Classic chamois pad comprises several layers of quick-drying foam with a sweat-wicking, antibacterial top sheet for comfort on all-day rides. Placed in the same location as traditional trade team logos, subtle Rapha logos on either leg ensure these bibs don’t just feel good, they look good too.

The fabric certainly feels comfortable against the skin, and the flatlocked seams ensure there is no rubbing or chafing. The open back does a good job of releasing excess heat, avoiding sweaty dampness. The shorts are now fitted with a new, body contouring pad, which in itself is a pretty major change.
